Focusing on the Customer - Enterprise Relationship Management

ERM or Enterprise Relationship Management is a business technique that utilizes software applications to track customer service and business performance. A single piece of software is employed to track purchasing, customer support and customer complaints. The wealth of information supplied by this tracking enables management to vastly enhance many areas of the business, this ultimately helps with customer satisfaction, retention and the businesses bottom line.

The reason ERM is really crucial is that clients are obviously the key to the success of the business. A pleased customer means ongoing interactions and purchases which helps to guarantee the businesses sustainability.

An ERM system also includes the monitoring of all surveys completed concerning the company via Enterprise Feedback management. The feedback obtained via customer surveys is integrated with the previously described factors (i.e. purchasing) to help determine what methods the business should employ in order to satisfy their clients. Enterprise Relationship Management will also help improve the firms communication channels with its customers by monitoring what techniques are successful and which usually are not meeting expectations.

ERM has become a more common device in establishing a successful business as technology has improved and allowed more techniques of communication. The growing prevalence and power of computer systems, the Internet and the advent of Smart phones has obviously assisted to enable businesses to track their communication.

Customer Relationship Management is a similar technique which aims to maximize the businesses capacity to identify the most beneficial marketing and advertising techniques for each customer. Warranty management is a excellent example of ERM. This is where the organization will track a defective item, the final results of the businesses interaction with the customer and the satisfaction level of the customer. This tracking helps the business refine the method for similar dealings in the future.
